  1. These protocols for the Korg M1 and M1R both require that the EXCL switch
  2. be enabled on the global MIDI FILTERING page. In order to use the Combi
  3. protocol, the M1 must be in the Combi mode and to use the Prog protocol, it
  4. must be in Prog mode. The protocols recognize the channel settings on the
  5. librarian screen and also locate the patch names to the best of their
  6. (Music-x's?) ability. All attempts to initiate some of the larger dumps
  7. from this machine (and several others that I have that generate very large
  8. dumps) have failed for some unknown reason. The M1 will generate about
  9. 88k with the "dump all" request, which I can record into a sequence by
  10. sending the request and recording the results from the sequencer page but
  11. I cannot get the librarian to receive the same dumps. I also have had no luck
  12. getting the librarian to receive large dumps from my Mirage.
